Hello, I am Audrey Lacroix, an abstract painter from Québec. My art is a world where movement, colors, and emotions intertwine, much like the beauty of life itself. I paint with acrylic paint on canvas and also utilize mixed techniques to depict my subjects.
I draw inspiration from my memories, from my lived experiences, and from the stories of the people around me to create authentic art that resonates with others. I translate these sources of inspiration by merging handwritten scripts, colors, textures, and illustrations with expressive and intuitive gestures.
In my works, there is always this duality, the search for peace and balance in a chaotic universe. Because that's life, an imperfect world where all sorts of unexpected things happen, and where we must find our quest for balance and well-being. Life is funny like that, always testing our resilience. And yet, we always manage to overcome.
